‘CRICZONE’: World’s First Women’s Cricket Magazine launched.

In this modern era, Women have not left behind than men in every field of life whether it is medical, engineering, politics, and sports. the women proved themselves in every walk of life. That is why they are a source of conversation for everybody in this World.

Now, The World’s first women’s cricket magazine has been launched. The inaugural edition of world’s first exclusive women’s cricket magazine ‘Criczone’ was released here with Indian team vice-captain Smriti Mandhana.

It is the world first magazine which features only women cricketers. In its first edition launched in India, the magazine features Indian Women’s Cricket team vice-captain Smriti Mandhana as the cover story.

The event was attended by top international cricketers like Mithali Raj, Harmanpreet Kaur, Smriti Mandhana along with overseas players like Danielle Wyatt, Sophie Devine which is held on the sidelines of the inaugural women’s T20 challenge.

It is a one-stop solution, exclusively dedicated to providing updates, articles, news, interviews, etc. from the world of women’s cricket. It was launched on the sidelines of the inauguration of upcoming women’s T20 challenge.

Saba Karim, BCCI’s GM (Cricket Operations) said that the T20 Challenge tournament has been a learning curve for the apex cricket body in the country.

Saba Karim said, “It has been a learning curve for BCCI in many ways. We have come to know about the talent pool available in the country and many more such things. We are pondering over how to take women’s cricket forward. The possibility of full-fledged women’s IPL too is open and the number of teams and the modalities have to be still worked on.”

The publisher of the magazine, Yash Lahoti, said: “For us, publishing Women’s Criczone Magazine has been a natural progression. The Criczone stories will seek to empower young aspiring women cricketers to take the sport as a profession and able to make a sustainable living.
